Welcome to Neighborhood Pizza, a gem nestled in the heart of Inverness, Florida. Located at 4441 S Pleasant Grove Rd, this eatery isn’t just a pizza parlor; it’s a vibrant hub that captures the essence of community dining. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Neighborhood Pizza offers an inviting atmosphere that beckons everyone to gather around their tables.
From the moment you step inside, the warm, friendly service greets you with the charm of genuine hospitality. Owners Ted and Kim have created a space that feels more like home than a restaurant. With their engagement in the local community, Ted even offers a 10% discount for veterans, police, and firefighters—a wonderful gesture that echoes their commitment to serving those who serve us.
Now, let’s talk about the star of the show: the food. Customers rave about the daily specials, particularly the large cheese pizza paired with delightful garlic knots for only $19.99 on Mondays. Reviewers have highlighted the balance of flavors in the homemade sauce—a fresh, vibrant delight that elevates the pizza, making it impossible to resist a third slice.
But it’s not just the sauce that earns rave reviews. The quality of the ingredients truly shines in every dish. Whether you opt for the 7” Meatball Parm or a generous 12” Cheese Steak, you can expect each bite to be packed with flavor. Customers have praised the crispy, yet tender crust, though a couple have expressed the desire for a slightly longer bake time to achieve that perfect golden finish.
The toppings also receive a spotlight. From the hearty meatballs to the fresh vegetables in the calzones, each element is designed with care. As one reviewer noted, the bacon is freshly cooked, and you can taste the quality of the cheese—never greasy, ensuring a delightful, guilt-free experience. Patrons have expressed their appreciation for the spaghetti and meatballs as well, highlighting the filling portions and the fantastic flavors.
However, like any local eatery, there are a few gentle suggestions for improvement. Customers have mentioned the convenience of delivery as a key area for growth, enabling more locals to indulge in their cravings from the comfort of home. Improved disposable options for dine-in pizzas were also recommended, emphasizing the need for sturdier plates.
Still, the positivity surrounding Neighborhood Pizza is palpable. With a clean environment and attentive staff, this restaurant remains a favorite for both takeout and dining in. If you haven't had the chance to experience the joy of Neighborhood Pizza yet, let this be your sign to take a trip to this local haven of deliciousness.
In conclusion, Neighborhood Pizza exudes the warmth of community and the satisfaction of great food. The next time you’re in the area, remember that behind every slice is a heartfelt commitment to quality and service. Join the locals in celebrating this true neighborhood eatery—you won’t be disappointed!

Recommended. 7.3/10 for the pizza, however I'm still giving 5/5 stars overall for the restaurant. I ordered half cheese | half pepperoni, ham, meatball, sausage, bacon, ricotta. Crust: 24 hour fermentation, slightly undercooked on mine and mild flavor. 6.5/10. I will ask to cook a little longer next time as the pizza ordered by another patron looked perfectly cooked. Sauce: Perfect balance, very tasty that was fresh and vibrant with sweetness without being overpowering. The sauce is the star here. My diet rule is I eat 2 slices and the sauce here made me have 3. 10/10 Cheese + toppings: Quality ingredients. Cheese was not greasy, nor were any toppings. You can tell the bacon was very freshly cooked. Meatballs, ham, and ricotta were also very good. The ham was thicker which I enjoyed. I also really enjoyed the sliced meatball which I'm usually very picky on. Pepperoni was mild and I was not in love with the thinly sliced sausage as I felt it was overly mild. Personal preference here as I normally like bold and flavorful sausage. I also felt toppings were a bit sparse across each slice but understand you need to carefully balance to not overload a pizza. Plenty of ricotta however. 6.5/10. Size/Value: Large is a 16" (most chains call a 14" large and 16" XL). Well worth $16.99 for a cheese pizza and then $1 for each topping, which is the cheapest topping price I've seen in 30 years on a large pizza. Incredible pricing. (Bonus +.1) Very clean restaurant, including the bathroom. Service was very very good. Foam cups and paper plates. While I'm not going to penalty for the cups, I am going to penalty for the plates as this isn't a sufficient solution for pizza when dining in as the plates are susceptible to tearing (like mine did) if you eat pizza with a knife and fork like I do. I understand logistical benefits of paper plates but would like to see perhaps a different disposable option with more strength for silverware use. (Penalty -.1) The service really stood out here, despite younger girls running the show. Morgan was our server and we really appreciated her friendly service. Myla and Chloe were also very friendly. (Bonus +.1) Owners Ted and Kim are actively engaged and very sweet people. While the location is a little out of the way for some, it makes perfect sense for them as it's around the corner from home, including staff. I didn't mind the location. Local community members (Ted is a local Rotarian) who offer 10% veteran / police / fire discounts. I appreciated that they spoke well of other pizza restaurants, supporting the community. Ted mentioned while other places may do things differently, that there is room for everyone as they all have their niche. I really enjoyed talking with them. Very customer focused. Kim is from NJ (one of the pizza capitals) who pushed Ted to start this pizza venture. While he's been in the food industry, this is his first pizza business ownership. They use the industry standard Bakers Pride (quality) ovens. You may have had his food before as he does the cooking for the famous "Beast Feast". Looking forward to going back and trying their white pizza

This is a true neighborhood eatery! Quick and easy! Saves me from going into Inverness. Other than that the spaghetti and meat balls were fabulous! Delicious, fresh, and filling. The young waitress was very attentive and went out of her way to make sure the visit was a great experience! YES, I will be back!!!

Finally got to try Neighborhood Pizza yesterday and I am so glad I did. Ordered a Calzone with Spinach, mushrooms, and onions. Thin flaky crust, alot of cheese, and very fresh vegetables. Was very good sized. 1 of the best I've had around here. Service was extremely friendly and the place was very clean. If you haven't tried them yet you really need to.

Just get delivery going. If having Uber/door dash/grub hub/etc was really a disaster for other restaurants, the platforms would have failed and it wouldn't be a thing. You are the most convenient pizza place to the majority of residents here but you lose on the delivery side and your competitors are getting the bulk of your territory because you require customers to change a habit in order to enjoy your product. Come on guys. These are pizza biz basics. You can do it.

I heard so many awesome things about this new little pizza spot. I had to try it! I called in and got some for take out. Nice little place, super friendly people, and a short wait for a family take out meal. The pizza, the sub, the mozzarella sticks, and the calzone were beyond top notch. The sauce is what dreams are made of. If you’re looking for a place you haven’t tried yet, this is your sign!

This is my second visit, I first had the Italian sausage sandwich, great quality, and the amount was spot on. Then I've had one of their pizzas and it was incredible, the sauce has taste. Cooked to perfection. This is my new Italian place.. Kim is the owner along with her husband. She is a fantastic person. I believe this is a family-owned business, and even the young ones are kind and respectful which is a rarity. Check them out you will not be disappointed. Also the prices are very reasonable.

First time trying Neighborhood Pizza, called in an order for a small neighborhood pizza and a 12pc bbq wing. Pizza was fantastic no complaints, the wings were spot on as well. Will definitely go back. From the crust to the the toppings there wasn’t anything about this pizza not to love.

Neighborhood Pizza definitely lives up to its name - it has that cozy, welcoming vibe you want from a local spot. The wings were surprisingly great — crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The Buffalo chicken pizza was really good - just the right balance of spice (not super spicy). The atmosphere was great, and the service was genuinely wonderful - friendly, attentive, and fast without feeling rushed. Definitely our new go-to pizza spot.
